Speak to your line manager about the proposed dates you would like to have off – to check this is OK and then book holiday dates through Brightpay, your manager will then approve this in the App and you’ll receive a notification. BrightPay has a section called ‘Documents’ which has a ‘how to guide’ and other useful info.

What do I wear to work?

Comfortable clothing that is suitable to wear around children that represent Raised in Bristol. We do provide uniform but you can wear your own clothes if you’d prefer. Clothing should be something that you don’t mind getting a little grubby and it’s worth bringing warm clothing for when you’re outside in the garden or on walks (our RiB fleeces are lovely and warm) and sensible footwear.

How do I log my overtime?

Log in to BrightPay, select ‘Documents’> ‘HR Documents and Resources’> ‘Overtime Hours’ which will take you to the form and then add in your details, what nursery you work at, the date of hours worked and then hours worked. This will then be authorised by management before sending to our accounts team! There is a cut-off date for payroll each month so try to be organised and log your overtime on time ensure it gets added to your pay in time.

What time should I arrive at work?

Ideally, we’d like you to arrive to work 10 mins before you’re scheduled to be in. We ask this to enable line managers to be able to communicate any important information to you. Also so you have time to get yourself a drink and maybe some breakfast, but most importantly to also make sure that we are prompt, ready and waiting for the children to come in at 8 am!
