Cucina Bambini’s Spring menu is here!

The children at our Raised in Bristol nurseries enjoy chef-cooked food from the well-loved Bristol restaurant group Bianchis via their early years kitchen Cucina Bambini. They create nutritionally balanced seasonal menus to nourish our little Raised in Bristol learners.

As part of our Raised In curriculum, we place a strong emphasis on healthy eating, using mealtimes to encourage a love for nutritious food and an understanding of the importance of a healthy diet. Shared mealtimes are also an opportunity to encourage language and communication skills, as well as a chance to learn about other cultures through food.

Cucina Bambini sources produce from local farms and suppliers, ensuring that their dishes are always bursting with flavour, and remain true to our principles of buying locally and sustainably.

The new Spring menu launches this week and includes a range of delicious delights such as Italian Spring vegetable lasagne, Indian biriyani and Greek moussaka as well as old favourites such as Bambini tiramisu and Bianchi’s freshly baked pizza.

Children doing a full-day session at Raised in Bristol nurseries will have a mid-morning snack, a hot meal at lunchtime, an afternoon snack and a cold meal at teatime. Children doing half-day sessions will have one snack time and a main meal. Every dish is thoughtfully prepared to cater to the needs and tastes of our children, including those with dietary restrictions or allergies.

As Spring is finally really springing we’re excited to launch this new seasonal menu for the children to enjoy. We’re pleased to continue to serve dishes that reflect our dedication to nurturing healthy, happy children at Raised in Bristol Nurseries.
